Faithful Friar’s Message:

Easter Sunday

During our celebration of Easter  liturgies, we will praise God by joyfully singing and proclaiming over and over again, the Easter word” Alleluiah”. It is the word at the heart and soul of our Christian belief that death and sin will no longer have power over us. The Risen Lord and the Spirit of God will now reign in our world and in our communities of faith.

Lent is over, Alleluiah. God is present. Alleluiah. Heaven is open. Alleluiah.

Christ is risen. Alleluiah. We are reborn. Alleluiah. The Elect are welcome to the Church. Alleluiah.. We are saved from our sin and selfishness. Alleluiah. We are loved beyond reason and imagination. Alleluiah. We are now the Church called to proclaim in every event of our human existence. Alleluiah.

Alleluaih will extend beyond Easter Sunday, filling the next fifty days with joy and hope. The new life we celebrate on Easter Sunday is only a beginning. It too should continue through out the Easter season and fill every day of our lives. “Alluleiah”.

Happy Easter to all. Christ is Risen. Alleluiah.
