IN ADDITION TO THE "BIG TEN"
These are my Commandments
I
Take charge of your own life with a passion. Observe, judge, act. Know
yourself. Control yourself. Give yourself. Correctly evaluate yourself and others. Gather the
strong around you. Trust Christ!
II
Strive to be loved, to inspire, to be enthusiastic, never dull,
to enjoy life. Yes, you have unopened gifts!
III Try never to offend ‑
in word, humor, action. Be sensitive. Continue to form community! Make forgiveness a habit. Humility is the door to all virtue.
IV Be a little kinder
than you have to be. Live gratitude. ‑ Be pleasant. Yes, tremendous
trifles: visit, phone, give, never moody.
V Be the first to say
"Hello," to smile. Be especially aware of children, the aging, the ill.
Oh,, the dignity of
all human beings!
VI Be
easy to ask favors of ‑ volunteer, serve, serve, serve.
VII Go
for excellence. Mediocrity is a disaster. Be creative. Refocus. Be a
do‑er.
VIII Be
courageous. Success is the last time you don't fail.
Courage never stutters!
IX Be
a peacemaker. Listen to life. Be Prudent. Be wise. Be patient. Be
present, ‑ be omnipresent.
X
Keep on reading. Learning never ends. The best teachers continue ever to
be students. Think to
influence.
What are your
Ten Commandments?
