Faithful Navigator Lloyd Scott

1997-98.  Sir Knight Lloyd Scott took over the reins of the Msgr Cramers Assembly of the Knights of Columbus for the 1997-98 year, he continued the many fine programs of the assembly. During his administrative year he was very active in all Knights of Columbus activities within the diocese of Lake Charles.  

This was a very busy and rewarding year for the Msgr Cramers Assembly under the leadership of Sir Knight Lloyd Scott..

 

 

Just a few of the many activities during the 1997 - 98 period:

  • VA parade Lake Charles

  • VA parade DeQuincy

  • POW MIA DeQuincy

  • Christmas Parade Kinder,  DeQuincy, and Moss Bluff

  • Essay Contest Drew Crawford DeQuincy middle school

  • VA Hospital visit Alexandria

  • Chalice presented to Father Bato at Our Lady Queen of Heaven.

  • Memorial services for deceased members.

  • Donation to Bishop  $3,127 and $3,158 Excellence in Religious Education Program 

  • Scott is a  air force vet - hospital administrator - stationed England air force base near Alexandria Louisiana - then Ellington in Houston.

  •  

  • Msgr. Daigle funeral 1/2/98 honor guard - Welsh - author of Cajun dictionary - renowned Cajun author

  •  

  • Received the Masters Award for outstanding service.
