1994-95.  As Faithful Navigator FRED FLUITT took over the reins of the assembly for the 1994-95 year, he continued the many fine programs of the assembly. Additionally, Fluitt was instrumental in inaugurating the custom of displaying a permanent Fourth Degree wreath at all wakes of deceased members. An organized and competent leader, Faithful Navigator Fluitt primarily devoted his energy and that of the Msgr. Cramers Assembly members to preparing for the assembly's 50th birthday in 1995, and in joining Pope John Paul I1 and Bishop Jude Speyrer in preparing the Church, the Diocese and the Sir Knights and their families for the Third Millennium of Christianity and the Year 2000.

Celebrated 50th Anniversary Honored charter members.

Sir Knight Fluitt was presented the sword of the First Navigator Harry Floeter by Floeter's family.  That sword is now passed along to each Faithful Navigator during his installation.

Sponsored the Patriotic Essay Contest and Senior Patriotic Awards.

Published the Assembly 50th year history book. Donated the History book to the McNeese Library.

Many newspaper articles were submitted during Sir Knight Fluitt's term as Navigator.  These articles were submitted by our Public Relations Chairman Truman Stacey and amounted to more than 261 feet of paper.
