Navigator STANLEY VAUGHN successfully endeavored to maintain
the assembly's major programs throughout his term of office. Two new
members were exemplified during ceremonies held in Alexandria. A Prayer
for Patriotism was adopted for recitation at assembly meetings and each
member was presented with a laminated copy. Vaughn was also instrumental
in the adoption of an assembly blazer to be worn at district meetings, as
well as in the design of an assembly patch to be worn on the blazer. He
led a group of Sir Knights in delivering to the Texas border the E1 Camino
Real Cross that commemorated the five hundred years of evangelization of
Christianity in the Americas.
Sir Knight Stanley Vaughn currently serves as Color Corps Commander for
Msgr. Cramers Assembly.
