1990-91. The
assembly continued its many fine programs under Faithful Navigator PERCY
ARMENTOR. A new assembly activity, the Father-Daughter Night, was
inaugurated by Armentor during his term. He directed the purchase of a
camera and a VCR for the Diocese of Lake Charles. Continuing the
assembly's custom of presenting a new chalice to a newly ordained priest,
Armentor presented a chalice inscribed with the names of ten deceased Sir
Knights to Fr. Scott Des Ormeaux at St. Margaret Church. During Armentor's
term of office, he hosted the Fourth Degree Exemplification at which ten
new members joined the assembly. In a later Exemplification held in
Gretna, three more new members were added to the rolls.
