1989-90.
Navigator JOHN
W. O'REILLY,JR., the
son of Past Faithful Navigator and Former Master John W. O'Reilly Sr., was
the first son of a Faithful Navigator to follow his father to that office.
O'Reilly continued the major programs of the assembly, especially the
strong patriotic and fraternal programs of the past, and for the first
time, led the assembly in participating in an annual MIA-POW Recognition
Day sponsored by the Veterans of Foreign Wars in DeQuincy.
Five new members were enrolled during an Exemplification in Monroe,and
six more in an Exemplification in Thibodaux. Once more the assembly was
honored with the Master's Award at the conclusion of O'Reilly's term.
