1984-85.
Sir Knight KEM V. KAUB was elected Faithful Navigator
of Msgr. Cramers Assembly for the 1984-85 term, but shortly after he was
installed, his employer transferred him to Denver. During the remainder
ofthe year, Faithful Captain Clarence Duhon assumed the reins of
leadership of the assembly to complete the term of office of Kaub.
During this term, the assembly's Color
Corps took part in World Day of Prayer by distributing 1,500 Prayers for
Vocations in area churches. The Color Corps also formed a Guard of Honor
for the Most Rev. Pio Laghi, Apostolic Delegate, who came to Lake Charles
to dedicate the newly-refurbished Diocesan Chancery, which was the former
hall of Calcasieu Council 1207.
