·JEROME SCALISI was
elected Faithful Navigator to succeed Boullion, and the highlight of his
term was the fact that the assembly was host for the Biennial District
Convention of the Fourth Degree. Six new members entered the assembly
during an Exemplification held in Crowley.
The Most Rev. Bernard J. Ganter, newly-installed Bishop of Beaumont, was
a guest speaker at the assembly's anniversary banquet, and the assembly
voted to raise the annual dues to fifteen dollars.
