1976-77.  The centennial of the United States occurred at the beginning of Faithful Navigator   WILFRED BOULLION'S term, and the Color Corps mounted a Guard of Honor for a Bicentennial Mass celebrated in Immaculate Conception Church on duly 4, 1976,  sponsored by the assembly.  Two new members joined the assembly during an  Exemplification held in Shreveport. The Color Corps participated in the standard appearances at wakes and funerals.
