1956-57.
BERT CHRISTMAN followed
Trouard as Faithful
Navigator in July of 1956, and
Master Jerry Ryan conducted a Fourth Degree Exemplification in New
Orleans in July of I957 with a class of 400 candidates, of whom 18 were
sponsored by Msgr. Cramers Assembly.
During Faithful Navigator Christman's term
of office, Hurricane Audrey struck Southwest Louisiana, bringing death and
destruction to a wide area. Two members of the assembly, Sir Knight Simeon
J. Broussard and Dallas J. Vincent, perished in
the violent upheaval.
