Sir Knight Rodney Duplechin

Sir Knight Rodney Duplechin was born in Basile, Louisiana November 7, 1930. He was raised on a farm and went to school in Basile through the 9th grade. His family moved to Hathaway and finished the 9th and 10 grade. He worked until he was drafted into the military in 1951. He  served in the Korea, Germany, and Paris France. He returned home and got married September 12, 1953. He has one child and 2 grand children. His wife of 47 years passed away October 2, 2000.

Rodney joined the St. Theodore Knights of Columbus and was very active in Church and KC activities. He was elected to the Grand Knight position in 1998 - 1999 and 2003 - 2004 for Council 3622. Joined the 4th degree, Msgr. Cramers Assembly in 1998. Served as Purser and became Faithful Navigator July 1, 2008.
